As you may already be aware, the Department for Education has announced changes to Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) following nationwide consultation. All schools are required to comply with the updated guidance by Summer 2021. We are keen to share what we are planning with you and wish to understand your views on the proposed guidance.
As part of our parental consultation process, we invite you to have a look at the changes we are making and our new draft PSHE and RSE policies. The consultation will remain open until Wednesday 10th March and then we will spend time reflecting on your comments. In the coming months and if required, I will send out a document answering the questions/comments that were raised and how we are addressing them as a school.
