Our Curriculum

At High Lane Primary School, we strongly believe that interest and engagement encourages enthusiasm for learning. Our curriculum has been designed to captivate our children’s curiosity. Teachers tailor challenges to ensure achievement for all through creating ‘wow’ moments and engaging our children at different starting points in learning. We incorporate carefully planned cross-curricular links to ensure that we provide relevant learning experiences through our tailored approach to the National Curriculum. Our year group topics allow our children to develop key skills in a meaningful context.  Children use these skills to interact with knowledge so that they leave us with the resilience and readiness they need for lifelong learning. Our Core Values are embedded through our broad and balanced curriculum through the rich and deep learning experiences we provide.
