Printable resources for the week:
This grid is designed for three year groups and is in line with the learning that is being delivered in school within bubbles. Because the year groups are mixed in school, we wanted to ensure that all of the children are being provided with the same content. Each week we will upload a new grid with activities to be completed. For the core subjects, there is a traffic light system. Green being the easier activity, Amber slightly trickier and Red being the most challenging. We will also be uploading additional activities/challenges throughout each week for those that want/need something extra. You can also request more activities that are specific to your child such as extra comprehension, maths etc. All of the resources/worksheets will be uploaded separately.
White Rose Maths - for Nursery children. These activities are more play based and are easier to accesses than the green activities:
Bubbles are very topical at the moment. Here are some activities around bubbles for you to try with your child at home. There is a strong link to mental well being in this work and hopefully this will give your child an opportunity to work through and discuss any worries that they might have at this time.
You should find all the sheets that you need here: attachments.zip
This week why not try some of the exciting outdoor learning activities that Mrs Hancock has prepared for us to enjoy.
You could take a stroll through the deep dark wood with our friend the mouse and try some of these English activities:
If you don't have the book at home, you could always watch the delightful animation on BBC iPlayer: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00pk64x/the-gruffalo
And for some Maths Activities, you could try dipping into these great activities from the White Rose Maths Website with a very wiggly garden visitor...SUPERWORM.
This week, the activities have been graded in colours. Red are the most challenging, yellow are medium and green are the most simple. This way activities will be suitable for Nursery and Reception children. Just pick and choose whichever activities are suitable for your child:
